Tenant Fees Guide

At OMG ProLet Ltd we place great importance on transparency and delivering the best possible customer service.

Please find below a list of the charges that you will or may be liable to pay before, during and after your tenancy:

  • The rent,
  • A tenancy deposit (up to 5 weeks’ rent),
  • A holding deposit (1 weeks’ rent),
  • Payments for utilities, TV services/licence, communication services, council tax bill and any other bills which you may wish to use the services/facilities during the period of you tenancy.
  • Default Fees: Interest will be payable on any late rent payments where payments are more than 14 days overdue. Interest will be payable at an annual percentage rate of 3% above Bank of England Base Rate calculated on daily basis starting on the15th day after the rent due date.
  • Lost keys or other respective security devices limited to the actual cost of replacement.
  • Tenant Fees: Should you wish to terminate your tenancy before the end of the term and the landlord agrees that you can terminate early, you will be responsible for the repayment of the pro-rata commission paid in advance by the landlord for the unexpired portion of the tenancy, unless you are exercising a break clause which is contained in your tenancy agreement.

A charge of £50 will be applied for any contract variation, novation, amendment or change of occupant at the tenant’s request within an existing tenancy.
